Les incontournables de la région

Peyragudes

The ski resort of Peyragudes is situated 2.5 km away from our house (the Agudes side). In the winter you can count on 51 trails, 18 lifts, ultra-fast and guaranteed snow thanks to the snow cannons.

In the summer, the resort offers other activities such as walking with 20 hiking paths classified according to their level of difficulty. Many other sport activities are offered such as climbing, water sports or mountain biking.

Saint Bertrand de Comminges

45 minutes from the cottage, the beautiful site of Saint-Bertrand offers a rich heritage of more than 2000 years. Stroll through the streets of the medieval town, past the imposing cathedral, or through the remains of the ancient city with its theater, thermal baths and one of the largest markets in the Roman West. Not forgetting the Basilica of Saint Just de Valcabrère, built in the 13th century on the site of a pagan necropolis and a Paleo-Christian cemetery, the remains of which are still visible today.

Val d'aran

From Haute-Garonne, it's the gateway to Catalonia and Spain. In winter, the Val d'Aran is renowned for the quality of its snow, with the resort of Baqueira Beret. In summer, it's a hiker's paradise, with the GR211 winding its way around.

35 min from the cottage, the park's animal Aran Park will allow you to discover the wildlife of the mountain through a course of 2 hours to a discovery of animals in semi-freedom.
